Jean’s French Dressing is a shake-it-in-a-jar kind of recipe, made with Wesson oil, vinegar, paprika, garlic, and a generous bit of sugar. Everything goes into a quart jar and gets a good shake until the sugar dissolves—simple, practical, and ready to have on hand for the next salad.
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup Wesson oil
1/2 cup vinegar
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp paprika
1 clove of garlic; cut in four & remove.
Put in quart jar and shake until the sugar is dissolved
