Alice’s Apple Nut Bread on the Traeger

You Can! I Did

I made Alice’s Apple Nut Bread on my Traeger Tailgater, a small wood-pellet grill and smoker, using fresh apples from the trees in the yard. I left out the nuts because I didn’t have any, used oil instead of shortening, and skipped sifting the flour. Otherwise, I followed the recipe as written, and the loaf baked up beautifully.
