This simple halibut recipe uses an unusual sauce of instant coffee, lemon, butter, and seasonings. The halibut steaks are marinated in the sauce before being cooked under the broiler and garnished with parsley.
2 tbs instant coffee
2 tbs lemon
½ cup butter
1 tsp salt
1 tsp onion salt
parsley to garnish
sauce for halibut steaks – pour over & marinate 1/2 hr. turn over and marinate another 15 minutes.
Cook about 3 inches from broiler heat, cook either at high heat for a short time or a short time at a medium heat.
