Lila’s Pie Crust

 

Mix as for pie:
2 cups flour
* 1 cup Royal Satin
1 tsp salt

Mix together and chill:
1/4 cup flour stirred into 1/3 cup water

work
Stir in water mixture.

* Royal Satin in a 1969 recipe is vegetable shortening, a dry (solid at room temperature) fat used in baking.
