French Salad Dressing

A sweet-and-tangy handwritten French salad dressing made with vinegar, catsup, white Karo, oil, and a handful of pantry seasonings.

Recipe Bio

This handwritten French salad dressing is an old-school sweet-and-tangy mix made with vinegar, catsup, white Karo, Wesson oil, dry mustard, paprika, and a little juice from minced onion. Everything gets shaken together in a jar or beaten with an egg beater — simple, practical, and very much the kind of recipe that lived in the kitchen because it worked.
